BODHISUKHA SCHOOL STUDENTS ADMISSION POLICY – ACADEMIC SESSION 2026-27

Date Prepared as per CBSE Affiliation Bye-Laws Chapter 2, RTE Act 2009, NEP 2020

1. General Principles

1. Transparency: Admission process will be fair, non-discriminatory, and publicly notified.

2. RTE Compliance: 25% seats in Class I reserved for EWS/DG category as per RTE Sec 12(1)(c). State govt rules apply.

3. No Capitation Fee: No donation/capitation fee will be charged. Only fees approved by management as per CBSE Bye-Laws Clause 7.6.

4. No Screening: No interview/test of child or parents for admission up to Class VIII as per RTE Act Sec 13.

2. Age Criteria – As per CBSE + State Govt Norms for 2026-27

3. Admission Procedure by Class

A. Foundational Stage – Nursery to Class II 1. Basis: First come first served + interaction with parents only. No test for child. 2. Interaction: To orient parents to school philosophy, NEP 2020 ECCE approach. 3. Documents: Birth Certificate, Address Proof, Aadhaar of child + parents, 4 photos, Immunization record.

B. Preparatory & Middle Stage – Class III to VIII 1. Basis: Previous school records + informal interaction. No formal admission test. 2. Documents: TC from previous school countersigned by Education Officer, Report Card, Birth Certificate, Address Proof, Aadhaar. 3. RTE Clause: If seeking admission mid-session, school will not deny admission if seat available.

C. Secondary & Sr. Secondary – Class IX to XII 1. Basis: As per CBSE Bye-Laws. Admission based on previous class performance + TC. 2. Class IX: TC + Report Card of Class VIII. Registration on CBSE portal in Class IX mandatory. 3. Class X: Direct admission not allowed as per CBSE. Only transfer cases with CBSE approval. 4. Class XI: Based on Class X Board marks. School will publish stream-wise eligibility criteria by 30th May. No discrimination by board. 5. Class XII: Direct admission not allowed. Only transfer cases with CBSE approval + valid reasons. 6. Subjects: Offered as per CBSE scheme. Change of subject in XI allowed till 31st July with Principal permission.

4. Documents Required for All Admissions 1. Original Birth Certificate for Nursery to Class I. 2. Original Transfer Certificate countersigned from Class II onwards. 3. Progress Report Card of previous class. 4. Aadhaar Card of student + parents. 5. Address Proof – Passport/Voter ID/Electricity Bill. 6. Passport size photos – 4 nos. 7. Medical Certificate + Blood Group Report. 8. Caste/EWS Certificate if applying under reserved category. 9. Migration Certificate for Class XI if from other board.

5. Fee & Withdrawal Rules 1. Fee Structure: Displayed on Notice Board + Website as per CBSE Bye-Laws. No hidden charges. 2. Admission Fee: One-time at entry. Non-refundable. 3. Withdrawal: 1-month notice required. TC issued within 7 days of application after clearance of dues as per CBSE rules. 4. Mid-Session Exit: Fees charged only till the month of leaving.

6. Special Provisions 1. CWSN: Children With Special Needs will not be denied admission. Inclusive infrastructure available. 2. Transfer Cases: CBSE, Govt, and Defence personnel transfers will be admitted mid-session if seats exist. 3. Age Relaxation: For CWSN, age relaxation as per State RPwD Rules. 4. Sibling/Staff Quota: Given preference if seats available, but no relaxation in age or documents.

8. Admission Committee Principal, Vice Principal, Academic Coordinators, Admin Manager. All decisions by Committee are final. Grievances to be submitted to Principal in writing.
